Our Services

Nurse Aid Training
The Nurse Aide training curriculum includes various units, with students completing 95 hours of clinical knowledge in a classroom setting and 30 hours of clinical skills training in an affiliated nursing home.
The curriculum consists of:
1. Introductory Curriculum
2. Basic Nursing Skills
3. Personal Care Skills
4. Mental Health & Social Service Needs
5. Care of Cognitively Impaired Residents
6. Resident’s Rights
7. Supervised Clinical Training with Nursing Home Residents

Objective
The primary objective of the program is to educate, train and cultivate skilled Nurse Aides who can contribute their expertise to the healthcare workforce and serve their community. The program is designed to equip Nurse Aides with sufficient clinical skills. After completing the in- school portion of the program, students participate in supervised externship training where they apply their knowledge and skills to assist patients. Upon fulfilling the course requirements for graduation, the school will assist the graduates in securing Nurse Aid positions. Additionally, the school provides support to help students prepare for the certified Nurse Aide exam.

Schedule

Mornings: 8:00am - 2:00 pm Monday through Thursday, 6 hours daily, 24 hours weekly, 4 weeks total.

Students have 45 minutes break included in their daily scheduled hours.
